ESXi 5.x host syslog fills up with the message: "Terminating on fatal IPC exception"

To work around this issue:

1. Evacuate the host of virtual machines by either migrating them using vMotion or shutting down guests.

2. Place the host into maintenance mode.

3. Remove the ESXi host from the domain.

4. Reboot the hosts.

5. Re-add the ESXi host to the domain.
